Rebecca Kirtman was just a freshman in high school when she started “Becca’s Closet”, a project to help less-privileged high school girls with dresses and accessories for school dances. However, her compassionate endeavor was cut short when she was killed in a tragic car accident. She was only 16.
But thanks to her parents and those she inspired, her dream lives on. Today, the “Becca’s Closet Foundation” continues to help young women get the dress they’ve always dreamed of, and it has inspired other organizations to do the same around the world.
What a touching story. I was moved by Becca’s compassion for those around her.
