Traffic Was Moving Along On This Israeli Highway, But When This Happens, I Was Silenced

The WWII holocaust is probably the most horrendous incident in mankind history. It’s estimated that about 6 million Jews were killed from Nazi Germany’s actions in the war. But humanity will always remember this tragic event in hopes that it never happens again.

Every year, –– in the 27th day of Nisan per the Hebrew Calendar, an air raid siren sounds over Israel to commemorates the Jewish lives that were lost as a result of the holocaust. The powerful video below shows the moment this observance takes place on an Israeli highway. Seeing everyone stop and getting out of their cars to pay respect to the past in silence left me standing in awe.

I’ve never seen anything like this. If you were moved by this incredible testament of remembrance, please SHARE this video with everyone you know!
