Stephen Colbert’s Funny Commencement Speech: Simply Spot-On
Comedian Stephen Colbert shouted some words of wisdom to the class of 2015 during his commencement address to the graduates of North Carolina’s Wake Forest University on Monday. And as expected he did not disappoint.
In his speech, Colbert, who left the “The Colbert Report” last year to take over the “Late Show” later this year, stressed the importance of developing your own set of values and beliefs, and encouraged the graduates to “try to make the world good according to your standards.”
“I hope you find the courage to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong, and then please, expect as much of the world around you,” he said.
