Everything seemed normal in the suburbs of Nashville Tennessee as two teen sisters age 13 and 16 years-old enjoyed a quiet afternoon alone in their home. But the calm was suddenly interrupted when two men dressed in black began to break into their home. Scared, they had only seconds to decide what to do about the terrifying situation.
After spotting the men, the quick-thinking teens grabbed their phones and immediately ran to the bathroom looking for a place to hide. They thought the linen cabinet would be a good spot and squeezed inside before calling 911.
One of the burglars went inside the bathroom, but the police arrived just in time, before he could find the girls. The burglars were arrested and identified as Brian Tomberlind and Carlos Murillo. WKRN-TV picked up the story in the news report below:
