Sometimes, a simple act with good purpose can change and entire community. This pastor wanted to help Nashville’s homeless population. What he and his congregation are doing can transform an entire community.
With that purpose in mind, the Infinity Fellowship Interfaith Gathering Church Nashville’s pastor came up with a novel idea for helping them get back on their feet. So they built Infinity Village, an enclave of single person dwellings with a roof, a front door that locks, and a paned window for Nashville’s homeless population.
“I get emotional about this, because this is so cool,” Roger McGue says in thevideo below, posted by USA Today. He has been living in a tent on the church’s lawn or in shelters for nearly a year.
