Getting pulled over by a police officer is one of the most unpleasant experiences for a driver. Chances are you’re getting in trouble for speeding, ignoring a stop sign, or some other traffic violation.
But, how would you react if you get pulled over for “Good Behavior?” Well, that’s exactly what happened to the kids in this story.
The video below shows officer Paul Lagoa, from the Boston Police Department, pull over a Jeep with a mom and her 6-year old son Jack in the back seat. But instead of a ticket, officer Lagoa gave the boy a coupon to get free ice cream from a local store.
The gesture is part of an initiative called “The Positive Ticket” implemented by the department. Officer Lagoa has been handing out tickets to children he sees doing good deeds. Watch the boy’s reaction when he realizes what the cop has given him. It’ll melt your heart!
Wasn’t that awesome? Please SHARE if you think these kids deserve these “positive tickets.”
