The worst attacks on Paris since WWII, which have killed over 120 civilians, were deemed to be an “act of war” by French President Francois Hollande and he is responding accordingly.
On Monday, French warplanes attacked hundreds of ISIS positions and trucks that the terrorist group has been using to smuggle the crude oil it has been producing in Syria. More than a third of them were destroyed, the New York Times reports.
The planes dropped two dozen 500-pound bombs with an emotive message of revenge: “From Paris, with love.”
The photograph below, with the striking message “written by members of the US military” has gone viral on social media.
Leaving messages on bombs has been a tradition of the US military since World War II, states the Post.
