A dramatic video showing the moment ‘The Bridge’ at Argentina’s Perito Moreno glacier collapses has emerged online. The amazing footage was captured on Thursday as large chunks of ice break off and tumble into the water.
It’s is not the first time this phenomenon has been captured on video. On May 28, 2008, researchers in Western Greenland captured the largest glacier calving event ever captured on film. Scroll further to watch it below.
