A few days ago, a man in South Carolina was driving by a new neighborhood when he came across a startling sight. In fact, he was so shocked by what he saw, he had to take a photo of it and share it on social media for the world to see.
The man, who goes by the username liquidthc on Reddit, noticed there was something very strange about the home. He then snapped a picture and uploaded it to Reddit with the caption “They had one job.” Do you see what’s wrong with this house?
I’ll be honest, I felt really stupid when I couldn’t figure it out, but when I took a closer look… OMG!
Liquidthc was not the only one shocked to see the garage completely inaccessible from the streets. Thousands of internet users reacted, calling it a “design flaw.”.
But not everyone shared the same opinion. One Reddit user defended the builders writing: “the driveway as shown in this picture acts as parking lot for patrons and sales employees and the garage acts as the sales office. Once the neighborhood is sold out they will sell the model and reconfigure the house to the ‘correct’ way.”
However, another Reddit user, who has been a real estate agent for 13 years, responded: “I’ve been a real estate appraiser for 13 years and I’ve never seen a model home that was purposely built with the intention of tearing it down or majorly altering it later.”
What do you think?
