Lost Baby Bison Battles a Hungry Wolf, And You Won’t Believe How It Ends

By any measure, a little baby bison would be no match for a hungry wolf. But as this wolf on the prowl at Yellowstone National Park learned, looks can be deceiving.

The one-week-old calf got separated from his mother during a river crossing and ended up stranded on a small gravel island. After surviving the cold night, the baby bison became the target of a hungry wolf.

The situation was dire. As the little warrior takes a stance to defend himself, the wolf goes in for the kill, trying to use its powerful jaws to rip open the little bison’s throat. But this baby has some jujitsu moves in store for the predator.
