Police arrested three dog breeders after RSPCA officers discovered tiny puppies fighting for life after being buried alive. The poor animals were rescued along with 15 puppies and nine adult dogs.

Disturbing footage of the discovery surfaced online after the three people who lived in the dog-breeding house were jailed and charged with animal cruelty.

The puppies were alive when they were pulled from the dirt, but their condition was so bad they had to be put down soon after. The shocking video shows the helpless Jack Russell puppies being unearthed by the police.

James Perks, 74, his wife Lorraine, 49, and their lodger Stephen Jenkins, 35, ran a dog breeding business from their home in Tamworth, U.K.

The trio was charged with animal cruelty. They were also banned for life from keeping animals.
