Feminine hygiene commercials are pretty awkward, but they could be even more awkward if men were the ones writing them, with no female intervention.
Sketch comedy group Hammerkatz NYU imagined how tampons might be advertised if only men were involved in the creative process. The result? Um, incorrect.
“No matter how heavy your flow is or how tiny your butt hole is… because that’s where tampons go,” one over-enthusiastic woman says to the camera.
Another take show a woman sitting at a bar saying: “Tampax is perfect for when tiny eggs come pouring out of my vagina covered in blood and I need something to scoop them up to put them back inside my body so that I can have babies.”
