Is there life outside our planet? That is the question that has propelled mankind to explore the universe. Ever since we started sending probes into space, there has been a good share of conspiracy theories confirming that ‘aliens are out there.’ Moon-landing disbelievers, UFO fanatics and movie script writers have been on the rave about extraterrestrial life.

But it’s not only the conspiracy theorists that share that point of view. Some scientists are coming to the conclusion that life may be present on our neighbor planet Mars, despite it being the smallest of microbial bacteria thats hard to find under a microscope.

A series of seemingly normal photos was released by NASA, but one in particular has sparked new theories about the Mars mission. The outline of the shadow in this picture taken by the rover suggests that something or someone is repairing the outside of the rover itself.

The image has set the internet abuzz, and some posing a new question:

Are men already on Mars?

“Ufologist” Scott Waring wrote in a post on his blog UFO Sightings Daily:

“The person has no helmet and their short hair is visible and in high detail. The person has on air tanks on their back and a suit that covers most of the body except the hair.”

As more people investigate this photo, many say this proves that NASA is a hoax. How could a helmet-less man live on Mars? Others say this is further proof that we are not alone in this vast universe.

But it just may be coincidence. The Mars rovers themselves aren’t exactly small.
