When you think of pets, land mammals are the first that come to mind. But in the video below, a playful little fish proves that water pets can be as much fun as those that walk on land.

The fish, a Midas Cichlid, approaches a person’s hands, just like a puppy would; and what it does next is the cutest thing ever! I’ve never seen anything like this before!

According ethologist Jonathan Balcombe from The Humane Society University, some fish, like the Midas Cichlid, like to be touched by humans. However, we don’t recommend doing this with all fish, as many of them can be hurt by overstimulation or germs on peoples’ hands.
