The Moment This Baby Sees Her Mom For The First Time, Priceless

Published on Jan 27, 2015

Little Louise was born with albinism. Because of the lack of pigment in her eyes, she also has nystagmus, a condition that results in poor vision. But her parents were on a quest to improve her life.

About a months ago, her mom, Megan McMorris, put a pair of glasses onto her daughter that gave her the ability to see. After looking confused for a few moments, the eight-month-old Louise seemed to lock eyes with her mother and immediately broke into a smile. This moment is as precious as it is touching.

Mom was thrilled and couldn’t stop smiling. “Once she could actually see me, it’s like ‘Oh hi that’s you,’” McMorris told reporters.
