If you read the news from time to time, you may already know about the media storm sparked by NBC News Anchor Brian Williams after it was revealed that he lied about being in a helicopter that was hit by rocket-propelled grenade while covering the Iraq War in 2003.

That story turned out not to be true. In reality, he was traveling in an aircraft following the one that was hit. Though Williams made an on-air apology last week, his credibility as a reporter has been undermined completely. As a result, NBC suspended him with no pay from his position on “NBC Nightly News” and are hoping for his permanent resignation.
