A military wife from North West Washington has become the latest target of ISIS hackers who sent her a terrifying message via Twitter, according to ONEUS News.
Lori Volkman was terrified when she first saw the alleged ISIS message pop up on her computer screen. “We know everything about you, your husband and your children. We are closer than you can even imagine,” the message says.
Volkman was recently featured along with four other military wives in a CNN article about a January hack attack in which ISIS took control of the U.S. military’s Central Command twitter account. She writes a popular blog about life as a military spouse, and believe that made her a target.
The attack is the latest in a wave of hacks by alleged cyber jihadists.

Her husband, a commanding officer in the military, is on assignment, so she is living alone with her children. She did her best to hide the threat from her kids but eventually told them.
“Once they were gone I walked into the principal’s office just to let him know. I realized my hands were shaking and I was holding back tears at that point,” she told reporters.
“If this was intended to scare us it had the opposite effect,” she concluded.
