The Heartwarming Rescue Of This Homeless Dog Will Give You All The Feels

Not having a place to live is very depressing, even for a dog. The video below captures the heartwarming rescue of a homeless senior dog in a way that exalts the power of second chances.

The elderly dog, named Mufasa, had been living at a water treatment plant in Los Angeles, sick and alone.

When Eldad Hagar, founder of animal rescue organization Hope for Paws, learned of Mufasa, he quickly put a team together and rushed to the dog’s rescue. When Hagar and his team got there, they saw a weary pooch, visibly scared and shaken, reluctant to let anyone get close to him. He was surrounded by hazards, including dangerous chemicals. This was going to be a tricky adventure.

Fortunately, the rescuers persevered, and after luring him with some treats, they managed to place a leash on the dog to lead him to safety. But that was only the beginning of Mufasa’s rescue. What they did next will melt your heart. Watch:

Mufasa is now living with a foster family and is looking for a permanent home.

Mufasa is now a healthy, happy pooch

A veterinarian estimated that Mufasa is between 8 and 10 years old. Please share to support dog rescuers around the globe.
