Jennifer Darmon was paralyzed from the waist down as a result of a car crash in the summer of 2008. Her boyfriend, Mike Belawitz, was devastated, but he stood by her side, and in 2010 he proposed.

Doctors told her that she would never walk again. However, Jennifer was determined to walk down the aisle at her wedding. When the special day arrived, she gave her husband the ultimate wedding present.

Supported by titanium leg braces and assisted by her father and brother, Jennifer walked down the aisle to the perfect song, “Walk With You.” The inspiring moment was captured in the video below.

I was moved by Jennifer’s optimism and strength. I’m sure that was a moment her husband will never forget.
