A video posted to Youtube showing a police officer smashing a driver’s window has raised questions about the rights drivers have when pulled over by police.

The video of the incident, which took place in Vancouver, Canada, shows the officer yelling “Hit the brakes you moron.”

“Why have you pulled me over, officer?,” asks the unidentified driver, while opening his window just a few inches.

“I smell marijuana in the car. Open the door,” the cop says.

“You do not smell marijuana in my vehicle,” the driver protests, infuriating the police officer.

I’m not playing this game,” the cop responded. Then he smashes the window and drags the driver out of the car.
