Dogs are not only man’s best friends, they also make us happy in more ways than we can imagine. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than seeing a helpless dog, left to die alone. I’ve seen a good share of dog rescue videos, but this one really got to me.

Our friends at Hope For Paws found this homeless dog, named Miley, living in a trash pile. She was in a terrible shape – almost indistinguishable from the trash. When they arrived at the hospital for emergency care, the sweet pooch was completely broken. It was a miracle that she was still alive. But soon, Miley started showing signs of recovery, and what she did next is one of the most heartwarming things I’ve ever seen.
