Top NASA Scientists: 'We're On The Brink Of Alien Contact, We Are Not Alone'

NASA’s chief scientist Ellen Stofan set the internet abuzz after revealing that “humanity is on the verge of alien contact,” during a panel discussion about alien life, Tuesday.

“It’s imminent. I think we’re going to have strong evidence of life beyond Earth within a decade,” Stofan said.

“We’ll make first contact with alien life by 2025, and even more extraterrestrials in the years that follow,” she predicted.

The shocking revelation comes on the hill of another claim by NASA astronomer Kevin Hand who said “In this decade, we will find out we are not alone in the universe.”

Other scientists at the panel also agreed. “It’s definitely not an if, it’s a when,” said Jeffery Newmark, NASA’s interim director of heliophysics.

According to NASA, recent observations by planetary probes and telescopes in space have shown that water is common throughout our solar system and the broader Milky Way.

Wether NASA finds little green men, or little microbes, I think discovering life outside our planet would be an awesome discovery.
