After Being Pulled Over By A White Police Officer, This Young Black Man Made This Video

After making an improper left turn over the median lane, 22-year-old Army National Guardsman Will Stack, who is black, was pulled over by white police officer. After the stop, he decided to make a video to share his feelings about dealing with a white cop.

In the video, Stacks reflects on his experience with the white police officer. It is refreshing to hear a young black man talk about an interaction with a police officer that didn’t end in some kind of altercation.

“Just because you’re black doesn’t mean you’re a victim, and just because you’re white doesn’t mean you’re a racist. Just because you’re a cop doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, and this world really needs to stop putting a label on people,” he said.

This young man reminds us all that, while police brutality and racism are very real epidemics in this country, people are still people regardless of skin color or profession, and that a little bit of mutual respect goes a long way.
