I’ve seen a good share of auditions on Britain’s Got Talent. But this one hit me to the core.

After being asked by the judges about her family, contestant Becky O’Brien got teary-eyed after revealed that she is a single mom who left an abusive husband.

We later learned how she was brutally attacked by her husband in hospital after giving birth to their twins.

According to The Mirror, her babies were suffering from health problems so severe they had to be admitted to special care. But despite her being surrounded by doctors and nurses, her husband still punched her in the face, breaking her jaw.

But this courageous mother-of-five, who works as an English teacher, refused to be a victim and left her brutal husband.

Now she had an opportunity to make her children proud  and delivered an amazing rendition of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” leaving the audience and the judges in awe.

I really enjoyed Becky’s performance. She not only seem to be a great mother, but she is also a great singer.
