When the Poppy Girls appeared at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance in 2013, their captivating performance was so angelical that even the queen was cheering with the crowd. But that was not the best part of the evening.

One of the poppy girls, Megan Adams, was addressed by the host who explained that her father, Lt. Commander Billy Adams, was on deployment on military operations and wasn’t due back for another three months, so he wouldn’t be in a position to see his daughter perform in front of the queen. But as Megan’s eyes start to tear up with her co-stars comforting her, she gets a surprise of a lifetime that brings the audience to tears.
