He Holds Salute In Silent for Over An Hour On This Beach. What Happens At 4:15? Unforgettable!

This 11-year-old boy traveled to Normandy with one mission: To honor the WWII heroes during the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. However, local authorities didn’t allow him to enter the cemetery in his WWII-style uniform. So the boy took his American flag down to Omaha Beach and did the most inspiring thing.

Once there, he planted his flag in the sand. Standing alone, he held the American flag, staring out at the ocean for an hour and a half to thank all the Americans heroes who died 70 years earlier in the fight against one of the most evil regimes in human history.

As he struggled to hold the flag still against the strong wind, the little boy envisioned the American soldiers in battle against this evil, their lives ending in violent, horrible deaths upon the same sand of “bloody omaha’ as he stood – he began to cry. He briefly broke is salute to wipe out those tears away, then regained posture to continue honoring the fallen heroes.

Watching the heartfelt video of this proud American boy made me even more proud to be an America. This is truly a sight to behold.
