This Man Wins Fallen Deputy's Patrol Car At Auction, What He Does Next Shocks Everyone

Published on May 27, 2015

When the patrol car of fallen deputy Sam Brownlee went on auction last week, the deputy’s son, Tanner, hoped he would have the winning bid, but he didn’t even come close. Tanner was outbid by a local rancher who did the most amazing thing after getting the car’s keys.

The man, named Steve Wells, surprised Tanner by immediately handing the keys over. Tanner was rendered to tears by the amazing gesture. The two embraced as the attending crowd watch in awe and big smiles on their faces.

Tanner was 15 when his father was killed in the line of duty. Now, thanks to this selfless man with a huge sense of compassion, he and his brother have a beautiful way to remember their late father. The brothers drove home in their father’s car after the auction – exactly what Tanner had been hoping to do that day!

Please share this post if you were moved by this stranger’s selfless act of compassion.
