This Incredible Teen With Down Syndrome Wants To Become A Model – And We Love Her For It

Meet Madeline Stuart, an 18-year-old girl with a genetic condition who is determined to change the face of beauty.

Madeline recently decided to become a model, and her story is making headlines and winning support worldwide because of one little difference: she has Down Syndrome.

This incredible teen dealt with weight issues for most of her young life. She lost 44lbs, and her new-found confidence inspired her to try modeling.

With the help of her mother, Rosanne, Madeline is making a statement that modeling is not no longer exclusive to a certain body type, skin tone, or age.

Her inspiring story found the support of Living Dead Clothes, an Australian-based label which prides itself on “signing models of diverse body types.” She recently completed her first photo-shoot with the apparel company.

Madeline told the Daily mail that “people with Down syndrome can do anything, they just do it at their own pace.”

“Give them a chance and you will be rewarded beyond your greatest expectations,” she added

“I think it is time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be beautiful,” she said.

This brave teen is a hero to anyone who was ever told that they couldn’t be who they wanted to be, and we hope to see her picture in billboards soon.

Please share if your were inspired by this incredible young lady.
