Sailor Taylor Morris was an audacious kid who loved adventure. Taylor was at the top of his game, but he never hesitated to put his life on the line to save the life of others. In 2012, the 23-year-old sailor led a team of Army Special forces to a classified location. Sensing danger, he decided to walk ahead of his unit. That’s when he stepped on an IED. According to the US Navy, Taylor became the fifth person at the hospital to survive a four limb amputation. After all this trauma, Taylor embarked in a long and painful recovery with the same boldness and calm under pressure that has always characterize him.
