Man Hears Kids Making Fun Of This Old Man's House. What He Did Next Shocked Everyone

Any society, any nation, is judged on the basis of how they treat their weakest and most helpless citizens.

Just like our small children , elderly people are the segment of the population that need our help the most. In old age, they don’t energy, or strength to keep up with regular activities, house chores and other duties. Not because you’re lazy, but because they’re physically unable to do it.

So when Leonard Bullock overheard some teens saying that his “ugly” house should be “burned down,” it took a toll on him. The 75-year-old wasn’t able to update his large Oregon house, which explained its appearance.

Fortunately, 35-year-old Josh Cyganik also overheard the teens making fun of Mr. Bullock’s house. What he did next shocked the entire community.

Cyganik, a 35-year-old train track inspector, decided organized a group of volunteers to help Leonard paint his house. The result? It looks as pristine as new.

The story quickly spread in the community triggering an avalanche of people coming to support Mr. Bullock, including a hardware store that donated all the materials to help out the elderly man.

In the 25th chapter of the book of Mathew, Jesus said that “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Well, I think Mr. Cyganik did just that.

I hope this serves as a lesson for all of us. Please share if you were inspired by this heartwarming story.
