This year Money Magazine ranked the 50 best small cities in the country—places with great jobs, strong economies, affordable homes, excellent schools, and that special something that makes it a great place to live.
After interviewing residents and checking for other important factors, Money magazine released the results of its annual “Best places to live in America” survey on Monday, and one thing is clear: small towns are the best. Just ask the people of No. 1 Apex, N.C.
To make the list, the magazine took into account factors like job growth, affordable housing, health care, safety and the availability of good schools.
