It was sighted on the planet next door, and NASA has no explanation as of what this anomaly is. The Internet, however, already has a theory: “It’s an ancient space craft left by aliens.”

The black object, photographed by NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover, shows a dark pointy formation. UFO enthusiasts from around the world have flooded the blogs with comments, and it seems everyone agrees that the object resembles a Star Destroyer –- an aircraft from George Lucas’ space series “Star Wars.”

“It looks like a crashed UFO,” Scott C. Waring wrote. “The craft is only about 4 meters across, so it probably only held a few passengers,” he added.

The “discoveries” keep coming. Who knows what else the’ll find in the red planet,” another commenter wrote.
