Rainbow Appears At World Trade Center On 9/11 Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that it’s been fourteen years since the tragic terrorist attacks of 9/11, which left 2,977 people dead at the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed after passengers seized control of the plane from hijackers.

That day I realized just how fragile this life is and felt powerless in the face of so much evil unfolding before my eyes.

Today as we pause and reflect on the lives lost, and join together in prayer for the grieving families of our beloved country, a rainbow appeared over New York City with one end seemingly leading to the World Trade Center.

Ben Sturner, captured the image below and dubbed it the #magicalrainbow. He shared images of the natural wonder on Twitter where it has gone viral.

Another image, also captured by Sturner, not only shows the complete rainbow spanning much of Manhattan, but portions of a second rainbow just above it, forming a ‘dome’ over the city:

Amazing! I can’t help but feel that GOD is watching over us.

May we never forget the lives lost on 9/11. May we never take our freedom for granted. Please share!
