Little Girl Wandering The Streets At Night Leads Police To Shocking Discovery

This 3-year-old girl found wandering the streets of Landsdowne, MD. That led police to a shocking discovery at the child’s home, where they found her mother dead and covered in blood, reported Fox News.

The girl was found around 10 p.m. Sunday after she wandered out of her Landsdowne home. Franky Myers was working security at a nearby bar when he spotted her in a CVS parking lot.

“We said, ‘Excuse me, where’s your mother and father?’” Myers said of encountering the girl. “She said, ‘Well, my mother is bleeding,’ and she had blood on her.”

“The child was clearly in disarray,” Mayers said.

Neighbors are are baffled by the death and some are attempting to put the pieces together.

“It’s terrible to happen so close,” said neighbor Sherry Williams. “I mean, it could be my daughter and my grandson walking out there.”

Another neighbor, Jeanne Arevalo, said: “I think the mother was alive and sent the little girl for help. People need to speak up and start talking – people in the city, people in the country. That child is going to be traumatized for the rest of her life.”

Now officials are trying to find family members of the 3-year-old girl now in the care of Social Services.

Investigators are looking into possible footage from surveillance cameras outside the home. They are still awaiting autopsy results.
