BREAKING: Smuggler Caught Trying To Supply Nuclear Material To ISIS

The video below shows the dramatic moment armed police swooped on a man who was trying to supply nuclear materials to Islamic State during a sting operation involving the FBI and a small group of Moldovan investigators.

According to media reports, The smuggler, Valentin Grossu, had offered to provide a ‘member of the terror group’ with 2.5 million euros (about 2.8 million US Dollars) worth of radioactive cesium that could contaminate several city blocks.

But it turned out his customer was really an FBI informant and when the two met up to make the exchange in Chisinau, Moldova, he was arrested. Watch:

During the operation, FBI informants and police posing as connected gangsters penetrated the smuggling networks, using old-fashioned undercover tactics as well as high-tech gear from radiation detectors to clothing threaded with recording devices, according to the report.

The US State Department would not comment on the specifics of the case. The FBI and the White House also declined to comment.

Thank God this man was arrested before the unthinkable could happen.
