For military families, nothing brings more joy than seeing their loved ones return home safe after being deployed for so long. In this remarkable video, a family attends a baseball game, thinking they were specials guests for United Service Organization night. Little did they know, they were in for an amazing surprise.

Staff Sgt. Trey Murphy, who returned home early from Afghanistan, wanted to surprise his mom, and the way he did it will bring happy tears to your eyes.

During the third inning, the family was called to talk to about their son’s service, who they thought was still on deployment. The whole time, however, Murphy was next to them, disguised as a baseball player. Watch the moment mom sees her son.

That was awesome! Murphy was the most valuable player indeed.
