As your parents age you never know what to expect, but anticipating their reactions to every occasion, and having a camera ready, can lead to unforgettable moments.

When Armand and his elderly mother were driving during a snowfall in Canada, they pulled over. Armand then went to turn the car around to get back on the road, but his mother, Albina, had a different idea: She swung open her door to go outside and play in the snow. He grabbed his camera as started recording. The resulting video has gone viral.

“Oh my, oh my, look at this,” Albina says as she packs together a snowball before throwing it. “It’s kind of fun to play in the snow,” she adds.

In the clip below, her son narrates as he captures the magical moment. “When you have a mother that’s 101 years old, it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments.” Watch:
