A mother-of-three has caused a stir on social media for seriously splashing out on her kids at Christmas.

Emma Tapping, 27, from the UK, came under fire after posting a picture of a ‘mountain of presents’ under her Christmas tree and boasting that her kids will get “more than 80 presents each” on Instagram.

In her post, Tappin revealed that she has spent $22,750 so far, and people are lashing out at the ‘overzealous gift-giving.’

When Tappin found out that her Instagram picture had gone viral and people around the world were commenting on it, she responded: “Will I post another pic of my tree? You bet your grandmas nipples I will. Seeing as my picture has gone viral (without my consent!) here is my tree!”

“You can buy your children two presents or 200, but it is the way you bring them up,” she added.

She concluded saying: “I LOVE Christmas I LOVE spoiling my kids in the festive season and I work damn hard to make sure it is every bit as amazing as it can be. So 2 fat fingers up to all the judgmental ****holes.”
