Jon and Lesia Pettijohn were rushing to the Bay Area Birthing Center in Pasadena, Texas, when Lesia’s water broke when they were 10 minutes away. John had his GoPro camera recording the monumental occasion, and the resulting video took the internet by storm in July and is making the rounds online once again.

The 4-minute video below shows the miracle of life unfolding before our eyes. Jon started shooting video of Lesia with a GoPro camera resting on his leg and ended up capturing an entire childbirth in the passenger seat of a car on the way to the hospital: A healthy, 10-pound-baby boy!

I’m glad of this reminder of the miracle of life. According to media reports, Jon, Lesia, and their new son, Josiah, are doing fine. The video has racked up over 28.6 million views on YouTube so far.
