Dean Smith had made the decision to propose to his girlfriend a year before actually proposing, and the reason behind waiting that long is incredibly heartwarming.

The reason behind it is that he wanted to make the proposal special and unique – to show her that he was dedicated and devoted to her. Each and everyday of the year, he had secretly taken a picture of himself proposing and singing to her. 365 days later, he had taken her to a resort on the beach for her birthday. That’s when he finally popped the question with those 365 pictures, where she, of course, said yes!

This is the best proposal I’ve ever seen, and the preparation was just perfect.
