They Knew She Was Building a Little House. But When Reporters Inside, They Are STUNNED


For many people, being happy means having a lot of stuff. For Dee Williams that involved downsizing from her three-bedroom home in Portland, Ore., to an 84-square-foot tiny house that she built on her own.

After suffering a heart attack in 2004 and was then diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition, Williams knew that she needed to make a change in her lifestyle. That’s exactly what she did, and she couldn’t be happier.

“Living in a little house made sense for me, it clicked. It gave me a chance to live close to my friends and be happy with the time that I have,” the told The New York Times.

Williams’ decision to go tiny has not only created a new way of life for her but has also opened up a new business opportunity for her as well. Besides saving money, her tiny house has attracted a lot of people wanting to see what she has done. According to media reports, a virtual tour of her tiny house has drawn more than 30 million people!
