This video showing a mother panda struggling to get her adorable cub to go to sleep will surely ring true to any parent with a toddler.

Five more minutes, please!… Nope! When mom says it’s bedtime, it’s bedtime – it doesn’t matter what age – or species of animal – you are! But as many parents know, getting your little one to put their head down can be challenging, especially when it’s the last thing they want to do.

That’s exactly what Yuan Yuan the panda found when she tried to convince her seven-month-old cup, Yuan Zai, that playtime was over and that it was time for bed at Taipei Zoo.

The stubborn cub simply would not listen and gave her frustrated mother the slip for several minutes, rolling around eating bamboo! But it was a battle the seven-month-old was never going to win. Watch mom take charge and bring her recalcitrant child back to bed. What a great momma!
