The older you get, the more you realize that there’s probably no one who’s going to love you more than your grandparents. That’s why the internet can’t bear the thought of a grandfather inviting his six grandchildren for dinner and making burgers for them – only for just ONE of them to show up for the meal.

Kelsey Harmon, a college student from Oklahoma, tweeted a photo of a grandfather looking sad after five of his six grandkids skipped a hamburger dinner he prepared. The internet collectively saw the photo, and now they are emotionally destroyed.

The tweet got more than 140,000 retweets and over 200,000 likes since it was published Wednesday evening.

After the tweet went viral, one of the grandkids, Brock Harmon, eventually showed up to dinner and tweeted: “Papaw said he forgives me and wants all of you to know y’all are awesome for making him famous.”
