These Horses Are Used To Being On TV, But Just Watch How They Treat An Elderly Friend…

Marion Roberts has loved horses her whole life. She got her first pony when she was 7 and in her teen years was a trick rider at the rodeo. Now 95, Marion lives at Crossroads Hospice, which has a special program for their patients that they call Crossroads Hospice Gift of a Day. Recently, she was asked if she could have ‘one best day’ what would it be, she told the staff: “I’m a horse person”.

The 95-year-old requested a trip to Warm Springs Ranch, the famous home to Budweiser Clydesdales in Boonville, Missouri where over 70 of the beautiful horses live.

When the staff of volunteers learned what Marion wanted for her special day, they jumped into action to make her wish come true. So they reached out to Warm Springs Ranch. Management told them that Ranch doesn’t open until April for tours. However, they graciously made an exception for Marion. And what a day it turned out to be!

Crossroads Hospice shared the heartwarming outing on their blog. The touching images have since gone viral.

Marion got up close to the Clydesdales and even got to kiss one of the majestic creatures.

When asked about her favorite thing about horses, Marion replied: “Their trust. They trust you wholeheartedly, and you never want to break that trust.”

Please SHARE this touching photos with your friends if you’re glad Marion’s dream day came true!
