Sanitation workers at thePalm Beach County Solid Waste Center in Florida are being hailed as heroes after rescuing four kittens they found trapped inside a tied plastic bag while processing garbage last week.
According to WPTV, the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue took the 5-week-old kittens in and said they were starving and suffering from parasites.
Fortunately, the kittens are expected to make a full recovery and should be available for adoption within a month, reported the Huffington Post.
The rescue group shared photos of the kittens on its social media page, including one of three men cradling the kittens in their hands while wearing Solid Waste Authority uniforms. Facebook users quickly hailed the men as heroes and even dubbed them the “Sexiest dudes EVER!”
Commenters also provided adorable names for the kittens. The three male kittens are named Garnet, Jet and Topaz, and the female kitten is named Ruby. All gems!
