Police officer Replaces 3-Year-Old Boy's Stolen Birthday Gifts

When a burglar ruined this sweet little boy’s birthday by stealing his gifts, one kind officer stepped forward to save the day by doing something truly incredible.

A Jacksonville, Florida, mother was left without a birthday gift for her young son after her car was burglarized and his present was stolen… until this hero in blue came to the rescue.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, Officer Derek Pratico responded to a car burglary March 27 and found the victim extremely upset because her sons birthday gift was gone and she could not afford to replace it. Officer Pratico wrote up the report and left the scene. But that’s not the end of the story.

The following day, the kindhearted officer returned to the victims home with a birthday present, birthday cake so the little boy could celebrate his birthday. And to put the icing on the cake, Officer Pratico also purchased a $100 gift card to give to the child’s mother to help her get back on her feet.

Now, that’s what I call going above and beyond the call of duty.

If you appreciate what the men and women in blue do for our communities, please SHARE this officer’s incredible act of kindness .
