When rescuers from Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service (WRAS) responded to an emergency call about a creature trapped inside sewage pipe, they immediately jumped into action, but they had no idea their operation would take the Internet by storm.

It turns out, a baby fox somehow wound up inside the drain. No doubt the tiny critter was feeling a little flushed under this predicament. Fortunately, a kind human came to the rescue. But while the rescuer was being a hero, there was movement behind him, and the figure spotted in the background was displaying an all-too-human emotion. And that’s the part people can’t stop talking about.
