This young boy was caught on camera running into this woman’s garage doing the sweetest thing ever.
Hollie Breaux Mallet was reviewing footage captured by security cameras around her home when spotted a young boy dashing into her garage. She couldn’t help but watch it again and again once she saw that this boy was simply wanted to pet and cuddle with her dog, Duchess.
The boy can be seen riding his bike before hopping off to give this big pup a hug. He then dashes away as fast as he can, hopping on his bike for a fast getaway! However, it’s not the first time this has happened. In the past, the boy had stayed a bit longer to play fetch or pet Duchess, but he always runs off. He’s not sure if he’ll get in trouble for doing so.
Mallet was so touched by the moment that she uploaded the video to Facebook in hopes of finding out who the boy was. She posted this with the video:
“Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn’t know if he should be here! I’d like to tell him he’s welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!”
Within 24 hours, the young boy’s mother, Ginger Clement Breaux, found the video and asked her son, Josh, to take a look. Breaux said, ‘He turned ten shades of red… He had a big smile after and said “You know I love dogs mamma”.’
Duchess gives Josh a big smooch on his chin. Josh has taken several selfies with Duchess, which were uploaded to Facebook after the video went viral.
She confirmed in the video’s comments that the boy was hers. Mallet was ecstatic to find out who the boy was. She simply wanted to let Josh know he could play with Duchess all he wants!
The video went viral on Facebook – people couldn’t help but share this boy’s innocence and love for the dog. Viewers soon asked why Josh didn’t have a dog of his own, and Breaux decided to answer them.
She wrote, “I figured I would comment this on here since a lot of people are asking… currently we do not have a dog. We had our dog Bella since Josh was 2, but she passed away last year. Things have been busy and Josh is active with after school activities so we have not jumped back into taking on the responsibility of starting all over again with a new pup quite yet. It will happen though!”
This boy has a huge heart for dogs!
