Chilling Texts From Girl Who Encouraged Boyfriend To 'Take His Own Life' Revealed

When Conrad Roy III, 18, died from carbon monoxide poisoning in 2014 his parents were devastated. Initially, police ruled the dead an ‘unfortunate accident. But when investigators checked his girlfriend’s cell phone, they discovered the shocking truth.

Conrad had committed suicide following days of chilling messages from Michelle Carter, now 19.

Carter was charged with involuntary manslaughter at the Bristol County Juvenile Court in Taunton, Mass., Friday, July 29, after she allegedly sent a series of text messages encouraging him to take his own life – texts her lawyers were tried to have suppressed.

Text records seen in court reveal Carter later told her friend: “Like, honestly, I could have stopped it. I was the one on the phone with him and he got out of the car because (the carbon monoxide) was working and he got scared. I f***ing told him to get back in.”
