Bullying is a serious issue that shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s not just kids being kids anymore.

Kirk Smalley is a father from Oklahoma, who like any other father, loves his kids unconditionally. The day his son,Ty, died due to suicide was the worst day of his life.

His son was constantly being bullied at school and just had enough. He couldn’t take the constant abuse anymore, so just like many other kids, he committed suicide.

A month and seven days after the death of his son, Kirk made him a promise that he will stop bullying for good. Since then, the father has taken his message to 23 states and hundreds of schools. His message has been heard by over 700,000 students.

His promise is far from being accomplished but he has raised awareness on the matter. He says he can’t do it alone. If you want to take a stand and help the cause you can do so here.
